    • I am proud that I have learned how to take up space and be a voice for others who are not always heard. 
  • What has been one of your funniest moments in teaching?
    • When teaching inner voice to kindergartners I asked “what do we call the voice only YOU can hear inside?” a kindergartener shouts “IN YOUR HEART VOICE” 
  • What do you want music education to look like in 20 years?
    • A space for all people to create, perform, and enjoy without fear of hiding who they are.
