Maura Drinkert is a Michigan-based music educator and composer. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2025 with a double Bachelor’s in Music Education and Composition, and is currently earning her Master’s in Educational and Instructional Technology through Western Michigan University. Maura teaches K-4 general music and STEM at Hill Elementary in Davison! Maura is Level 1 certified in Early Childhood Music through the Gordon Institute of Music Learning, and serves as a member of the Young Composers of Michigan committee through MMEA. Maura is passionate about expanding the world of composition/improvisation, as well as creating more cross-curricular opportunities between music and other educational fields.
