Maria Schoon has been teaching elementary music for three years in Grand Haven, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2022 and is in the process of completing a masters degree at the University of Michigan! Maria is Level 1 certified in both Early Childhood (2021) and Elementary General (2022) music teaching through the Gordon Institute of Music Learning. She has also taught early childhood music classes at the Michigan State University Community Music School and currently directs the Children’s Choir at Calvin Church in Grand Rapids. When she isn’t up to her ears in music, Maria loves cooking, reading, and playing with her golden retriever Brad, the best boy ever.
