Summer Teacher Shares are informal sessions, facilitated by participants and designed for teachers to meet, share and learn. All sessions are online via Zoom from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm and the registration fee is $5.00/session for MMEA members, $10.00/session for non-members.

The ABC’s of MLT: Developing a Music Learning Theory Informed Classroom
The Music Learning Theory is a research-based theory of the way humans learn to audiate or “think music”. In this session, participants will learn the basic principles of the Music Learning Theory and discuss how music teachers can use this theory to build or inform instruction.
