Special Thanks to Grand Ledge HS
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Grand Ledge HS Madrigals, under the direction of Sherri Peterson, for singing at a recent fountain dedication for the recently deceased state Superintendent Brian J. Whiston. A fountain was dedicated in his honor outside the department of education building on August 9th, and speeches were made by Governor Rick Snyder, interim state Superintendent Sheila Alles, and two state board of education members. Family, friends, and colleagues were present for this very touching tribute to a great man an incredible educator.
