0.5 MS Band Posting @ Kennedy Middle School, St. Clair Shores, MI
Lake Shore Public Schools is hiring a 0.5 FTE Middle School Band Position to begin in the 2023-2024 school year. Specific courses to be determined. This position expands the current position (Currently only one band teacher between the two schools) and will collaborate with the current director at the MS only. There is a lot of history and momentum in this program and district as we enter our 100th year – the entire district is undergoing major renovations this summer due a major bond passage last year, our district just passed a massive contract with three years of guaranteed step increases and 3% overall schedule increases (will make us in the top three of Macomb County), and we are starting to see some of our largest beginning band classes in quite some time.
