The Michigan legislature recently allocated $11 million for K-5 schools who currently do not offer music education. The application for these funds is expected to open December 1 and closes on December 15, 2023. Districts can prepare now for this very small window of application by accessing the RFP, application and budget templates on the MDE Music Grant (33c) page on the MAEIA website.
