Urge Congress to Support Full Funding of Title IV, Part A

Today, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) launched an advocacy campaign in support of Fiscal Year 2023 (FY 2023) funding for the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) grant program under Title IV-A of the Every Student Succeeds Act. See the letter NAfME and nearly 100 other national, state, and local organizations sent to the U.S. House Appropriations Committee Chair and Ranking Members.

Please take 2-5 minutes to personalize and send this pre-written letter to your members of Congress today

Urge your members of Congress to support federal funding for music education by advocating for full funding of the Student Support and Academic Enrichment grant program under Title IV-A of the Every Student Succeeds Act. The Title IV-A block grant provides flexible funding for states and districts to support safe and healthy students, the effective use of technology in education, and well-rounded education programs, and it specifically mentions music as an allowable use of funding. Because of the grant’s significant potential to improve student success and access to a variety of music education opportunities, Title IV-A is among NAfME’s top priorities in the annual federal budget process.

Share this campaign with other music education advocates today.

Thank you.
