Outstanding Administrator Award

Background: This award is to recognize administrative support for music education. It is given to individuals who have demonstrated active, on-going support for balanced music programs.

Purpose: To recognize administrative support for music education. This award will be made to individuals who have demonstrated active, on-going support for balanced music programs. Nominations must be submitted by a member of MMEA.

The nomination form or a letter with the information listed above must be accompanied by:

  1. Summary of reasons you feel the above candidate should receive award. (Please include this on a separate sheet.)
  2. Resume of the candidate including the nominee’s education and employment history, number of years in present position, professional organizations, civic clubs, honors, etc.
  3. A description of the school system’s music program including staffing, number of students involved, curriculum organization, administrative support, etc.
  4. Three or more letters of endorsement and recommendation from colleagues, parents, or community members explaining why this administrator should receive this award.
