Job Description Summary: 
The School of Music, Theatre and Dance invites applicants for an Assistant Professor of Music—Voice (Mezzo Soprano) beginning August 15, 2018. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate applied voice; teach undergraduate and graduate diction; advising and helping graduating students pursue their career objectives. Successful candidates will have had college level experience teaching the subjects listed above, and will have a proven success record of teaching both classical and musical theatre styles. Experience and interest in other areas such as song repertoire and other voice related subjects are a plus. In addition, the successful candidate will have had an active performing career and demonstrate potential for continued success as a performer. Finally, an enthusiastic commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students, a positive collaborative approach to working with fellow artists, and the ability to support students’ transition into the professional world are important considerations.
